star this property answer text <p>The Department for Exiting the European Union is working closely with all departments to ensure our preparations for exit from, and new partnership with, the EU are on track. We have established a series of arrangements to coordinate departments’ planning and delivery. <br><br></p><p>As indicated in the National Audit Office report, departments have identified exit work streams that are used to structure engagement with DExEU. The structure and development of workstreams is part of ongoing cross-government work to develop and assess potential policy options. There are currently c.300 workstreams, but this number is updated regularly.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>We want the broadest and deepest possible partnership – covering more sectors and co-operating more fully than any Free Trade Agreement anywhere in the world today.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is undertaking a wide range of continuing analysis and preparatory work, across a range of scenarios, looking at the implications of UK withdrawal from the EU. We have been clear the Government will not provide a running commentary on internal analytical work that is being carried out within Government.</p><p> </p><p>The Government has confirmed that when we bring forward the vote on the final deal, we will ensure that Parliament is presented with the appropriate analysis to make an informed decision. Given that we are yet to conclude this negotiation, it would not be practical or appropriate to set out the details of exactly how the Government will analyse the final deal.</p> more like this

Our analytical work contributes to our exit negotiations with the EU, defines our deep and special partnership with the EU, and informs our understanding of how EU exit will affect the UK’s domestic policies and frameworks.</p><p> </p><p>It is not standard practice to provide a running commentary on continuing, internal analysis. Ministers have a specific responsibility, which Parliament has endorsed, not to release information that could reveal our negotiating position.</p> more like this
