	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/06/2019 answer text <p>End year performance awards are a key element of the Department for Work and Pension’s reward strategy, supporting performance improvement, employee engagement and delivery of key business objectives. These awards are based on employees’ annual performance ratings, which are scored against their overall achievement of objectives, and the behaviours demonstrated during the performance year. The level of award will vary according to a range of factors including grade and performance rating achieved.</p><p> </p><p>As with all government departments Senior Civil Servants (SCS) in DWP are managed under Cabinet Office policy. Performance related pay awards for this cohort are restricted to top performers only with around 25% of employees falling into this category. Performance ratings are based on delivery against key objectives, effective leadership skills, and demonstration of Civil Service behaviours and values.</p><p> </p><p>The DWP, in common with most other government departments, also operates an in-year Recognition and Reward scheme which is available all year round and consists of one off non-consolidated cash or voucher awards. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/06/2019 answer text <p>On 21 May 2019 we announced a public call for evidence led by a panel of experts to gather evidence on how the family courts protect children and parents in cases of domestic abuse and other serious offences.</p><p> </p><p>The inaugural panel meeting took place on Friday 14 June 2019. We will shortly be announcing its planned approach for engaging domestic abuse survivors and other key stakeholders, as well the composition of the panel and agreed objectives for the call for evidence.</p><p> </p><p>The panel members represent key parties to the issue and will provide expertise from across the Family Justice System. Included are representatives from the Judiciary, academia, social care, policy officials and third sector organisations which represent and advocate for survivors of domestic abuse.</p><p> </p><p>It is vital that this call for evidence can contribute to real improvements to the Family Justice System to protect victims and their families. The application for the EU Settlement Scheme is simple and straight forward.</p><p>The application process has been tested with users of different abilities and we have conducted research with those who do not read English. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/05/2019 answer text <p>The Home Office issued guidance to employers on 28 January 2019 on how they can use the on-line digital service in complying with their responsibilities under the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006 on the prevention of illegal working. The online service provides an alternative digital means for individuals to evidence their right to work if they hold a biometric residence permit or biometric residence card or status under the EU Settlement Scheme. The Home Office guidance clearly stipulates that employers should provide individuals with every opportunity to demonstrate their right to work. They should not discriminate on the basis of whether or not an individual is able or willing to demonstrate their right to work using the online checking service, as opposed to using physical documents specified in Home Office regulations which continue to be acceptable. The guidance makes clear that employers who do so risk breaching the Equality Act 2010. Where employees have an outstanding immigration application or appeal, the Home Office provides a separate employer checking service which provides emailed confirmation to the employer of the person’s continuing right to work in these circumstances.
