	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/06/2015 answer text <p /> <p>The Department for Work and Pensions has not undertaken a formal assessment of changes in employment retention levels since changes to the percentage threshold scheme for statutory sick pay were introduced on 6 April 2014. The Impact Assessment supporting this change reflects that the removal of the scheme will not precipitate illegal discrimination by employers against employees with poor sickness records. This was an ad-hoc release of experimental statistics on MR requests made between 28<sup>th</sup>October 2013 and 31<sup>st</sup> October 2014. It gives an overview of mandatory reconsideration requests across all benefits recorded on DWP’s operational systems, and a focused summary on Employment and Support Allowance (ESA). However before DWP is able to do this statisticians need to make sure that the data is accurate and fit for purpose and develop a robust methodology. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 29/06/2015 answer text <p>The savings from the abolition of the Percentage Threshold Scheme (PTS) of £52M 2014/15 were reinvested to set up Fit for Work and provide a tax exemption of up to £500 per year per employee for medical treatments recommended by Fit for Work or an employer arranged occupational health service.
