This is the average number of weeks from receipt in Her Majesty's Courts and Tribunals Service (HMCTS) to the final outcome within the period for all Personal Independence Payment (PIP) appeals. It will include cases cleared at hearing and cases cleared without a hearing which include strike outs, superseded and withdrawals prior to a hearing. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 24/05/2021 answer text <p>The Secretary of State regularly meets with the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care to discuss health and employment support.</p><p> </p><p>In recognition of the important link between work and health, including mental health, in 2015 we created the joint Department for Work and Pensions and Department for Health and Social Care Work and Health Unit (WHU). This brings the two departments together to pilot new ways of joining up the health and employment systems. The WHU delivers a programme of trials, initiatives and policy development to support disabled people and people with health conditions to remain in and return to work, and to support health and wellbeing in the workplace.</p><p> </p><p>One of the largest initiatives of the joint WHU is providing additional Employment Advisors (EAs) in NHS Increasing Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) Services. This provides combined psychological treatment and employment support to help clients receiving IAPT treatment for depression and anxiety to remain in, get back to, or find work, including those impacted by changes to the labour market resulting from COVID-19. This initiative is currently running in 40% of Clinical Commissioning Groups in England, including the Coventry and Warwickshire CCG.</p><p> </p><p>Large scale trials in the West Midlands and Sheffield City Region have been testing the internationally-recognised Individual Placement and Support approach to employment support in a health setting for people with common mental health and/or physical health conditions.</p><p> </p><p>Nationally, DWP has developed and implemented mental health guidance and training for its frontline staff across the nation. To support vulnerable customers, DWP has created a national network of senior leaders who will liaise locally with authorities who have safeguarding responsibilities to identify individuals who may need extra support. National employment programmes, including the Work and Health Programme and the Intensive Personalised Employment Support Programme, provide specialist employment support to individuals. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 26/10/2018 answer text <p>This Government is taking a range of action to ensure that women and girls are able to access affordable sanitary products.</p><p>No girl should be held back from reaching her potential because of her gender or background; this is why the current and draft guidance on Relationship and Sex Education issued to schools encourages them to make sensitive arrangements to help girls cope with menstruation. Schools have discretion over how they use their funding and can make sanitary products available, if they identify this as a barrier to attendance. The Department for Education’s published analysis, which reviewed absence statistics, shows no evidence that period poverty has a significant impact on school attendance,</p><p>Additionally, since 2015, the Government has awarded £15 million a year to women’s charities through the Tampon Tax Fund – equivalent to the amount of VAT raised from the sale of women’s sanitary products. Through the current round of the fund, we will provide over £1.6 million for the ‘Let’s Talk. Period.’ Project, delivered by ‘Brook Young People’ across England. The project will identify vulnerable and disadvantaged young women who struggle to afford products through the organisation’s existing community services and a network of local partners, including schools. It will also develop resources to educate girls about menstruation and hand out pre-paid cards allowing girls and young women in need to access free sanitary products at local distribution points.</p><p> </p><p>Work offers people the best opportunity to move out of poverty; across the UK, there are over 3.3m more people in work, around 964,000 fewer workless households, and around 637,000 fewer children living in such households compared with 2010.
