star this property answer text <p> </p><p /> <p> </p><p /> <p>The Government is committed to increasing compliance with minimum wage legislation and effective enforcement of it. Everyone who is entitled to the minimum wage should receive it.</p><p /> <p> </p><p /> <p>HMRC enforces the National Minimum Wage for all workers. This includes agency workers and those on zero hour contracts. HMRC investigates every complaint made to the Pay and Work Rights helpline. In addition, HMRC conducts risk-based enforcement in sectors or areas where there is a higher risk of workers not getting paid the legal minimum wage.</p><p /> <p> </p><p /> <p>The Government is taking a tougher approach on employers that break National Minimum Wage law and has already made it simpler to name and shame employers that break NMW law. The Government has also increased the financial penalty percentage that employers pay for breaking minimum wage law.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

Title numbers are made up of residential properties, commercial properties and areas of land.</p><p /> <p> </p><p /> <p>Price paid entries on the register were introduced on 1 April 1990 and since then 13.4m title numbers have at some point had a price paid entry on the register.</p><p /> <p> </p><p /> <p>From 1 January 1995 Land Registry also recorded information relating to11.8m residential properties sold for full market value. As a result we are working with industry to create greater transparency of payment practices and a more responsible payment culture. This will include a statutory requirement, via the Small Business Enterprise and Employment Bill, for large firms to publish their payment practices. star this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government works closely with the European Union Observatory on the Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights to share best practice with stakeholders – including industry bodies and European and international enforcement bodies – on the approach to tackling intellectual property (IP) enforcement.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Government also plays an active role in Europol and Interpol intellectual property enforcement action and undertakes direct bilateral action where operationally necessary.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Through our network of overseas IP attachés the Government continues to build strong relations with government departments, industry bodies and enforcement agencies. For example, in September the Chinese Government will host the second UK-China IP Symposium which I shall be attending. The Symposium, which will have a clear enforcement component, is an opportunity for UK and Chinese companies to interact with senior policymakers from both countries on a range of intellectual property topics. The UK Government will be coordinating a range of activities in China that week, engaging with the Supreme People’s Court and the Ministry of Public Security.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

star this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Welsh Government and the UK Government have concurrent powers to promote international trade and inward investment. UK Trade &amp; Investment (UKTI) has lead UK responsibility for the provision of support and assistance to new and existing exporters of goods and services both at home and overseas. The Welsh Government is responsible for devising and implementing additional programmes to meet the particular needs of companies in Wales.</p><p> </p><p>UKTI works closely with the Welsh Government's trade and Investment team who deliver services on the ground in Wales. Companies in Wales therefore have access to the support provided both by Welsh Government and UKTI.</p><p> </p><p>UKTI uses its Performance and Impact Monitoring Surveys (PIMS) to measure the performance and impact of its support across the UK. The PIMS evidence is periodically complemented by independent impact evaluations. Support under DSAs will continue to be available if the need for a higher specification or higher cost computer is by virtue of the student's disability, rather than how the course is being delivered by the Higher Education Institution (HEI). If access to a higher specification or higher cost computer is essential to all students on that course, regardless of whether they are disabled or not, then provision of such computers would be a matter for the HEI.</p><p> </p> more like this
