star this property answer text <p>Where an application is defined as non-straightforward due to complexity, the customer will be written to within the normal processing time to explain why it will not be decided within the normal standard, and to explain what will happen next.</p><p>All leave to remain applications that seek to rely upon Article 8 of the European Convention on Human Rights and applications outside of the rules are deemed non-straightforward (or ‘complex’). On the introduction of the current Article 8 rules (Appendix FM), in July 2012, a Policy Equality Statement was published demonstrating how these rules complied with the Equality Act 2010.</p> more like this

There are no reasons to believe that the other individual requires protection and/or assistance and therefore a grant of Discretionary Leave has not been made. <br>The individual was issued a residence card as a non-EEA national family member confirming their right to reside in accordance with EEA Treaty rights.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p><br>As my Rt Hon Friend the Prime Minister told the House of Commons on 21 January (col. 28) “that we have listened to concerns raised in constituencies, by Members in the House and by user groups, and when we roll out the scheme fully in March, the Government will not charge an application fee to anyone applying under the EU Settlement Scheme. Anyone who has applied during the private or public beta test phases, or who does so, will have their fee reimbursed. Details of the refunds process will be published shortly.”</p><p>It was a matter for individual organisations or employers to decide whether they wished to pay on an applicant’s behalf, give them the funds to pay, or reimburse the fee.</p> more like this
