star this property answer text <p>Promotion in the Cabinet Office is based on merit and suitability for the post in question.</p><p>The requested statistics on promotion are not readily available. However, we estimate that male staff constituted 51% of all those promoted since April 2011. This closely reflects the overall proportion currently working in my Department.</p><p>Figures for ethnicity and disability are not available. Cabinet Office does not compel staff to declare against workforce diversity indicators, including ethnicity and disability.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Regulatory Impact Assessments are the responsibility of the Better Regulation Executive (BRE) in the Department for Business and Trade. However, BRE does not hold information relating to the impacts of EU-sourced regulations.</p><p> </p><p>Retained EU law is currently being reviewed by each Department to consider whether it should be removed, kept or reformed. Defra contributed information to the BRE on the cumulative impacts of the analysis of Impact Assessments for Defra regulations, for the purposes of the Business Impact Target. However, this information is not held centrally on a searchable IT platform or archive.</p> more like this
