star this property answer text <p>The only available data are from the Referrals, Assessments and Packages of Care returns (RAP) section of the data collected on the social care activity of councils with adult social services responsibilities.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The data are provided only for York Unitary Authority. The information is not collected at constituency level. The data do not provide information on whether or not the carers seen by local authorities are family members of the person being cared for. The current definition of a carer is taken from the Carers and Disabled Children Act 2000, which states that the Act affects ‘carers (aged 16 or over) who provide or intend to provide a substantial amount of care on a regular basis for another individual aged 18 or over’.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Although the Act refers only to carers aged 16 or over, younger carers of adults should be included in these data. The Act excludes from the definition of a carer, paid care workers and volunteers from a voluntary organisation.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The collection period runs from 1 April to 31 March. For example, for 2010/11, the collection period runs from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011. Friend the Secretary of State has not made any assessment of the liabilities faced by the National Health Service from unprocessed care home claims.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>However, on 15 March 2012, the Department announced deadlines for any new cases to the system which require assessment for NHS Continuing Healthcare (NHS CHC) funding, for previously unassessed periods of care, where there is evidence that the individual may have been eligible for NHS CHC. As a result of this, approximately 59,000 enquiries were received by the NHS. star this property answer text <p>NHS England has advised that the provision of a neuromuscular care co-ordinator within the multidisciplinary team was a key requirement of the specialised commissioning, service specification compliance exercise.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>At the time of the initial assessment in 2013, the service at Barts Health NHS Trust was rated compliant in this area, which included the provision of a neuromuscular care co-ordinator.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The NHS Trust Development Authority has advised that Barts Health NHS Trust has agreed to prepare a business case to explore the possibility of creating a trust funded neuromuscular care coordinator post and will explore the possibility of obtaining charity funding for this post.</p><p> </p> more like this

This relationship is particularly negative among those who engage in high levels of screen use (more than four hours a day).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Following an in-depth look at mental health and wellbeing support for children and young people, the Government has set out a blueprint for improving care over the next five years. star this property answer text <p>On 21 February 2015, the Prime Minister launched his new Challenge on Dementia 2020, which builds on the achievements of the Prime Minister’s challenge on dementia 2012-2015, the successor to the National Dementia Strategy 2009-2014. It sets out aspirations for dementia care, support, awareness and research to be transformed by 2020.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>What happens from 2015/16 to 2020 will be determined by the next Government in the context of the Spending Review, however the expectation, subject to the outcome of the Spending Review, is to work with key stakeholders on the implementation on the vision to ensure that real and sustainable improvements are delivered for people with dementia, their carers and families.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>NHS England will later in March be launching a Mental Health Apps Library pilot to promote access to digital services that have a proven track record of improving outcomes for those suffering with depression and anxiety. The focus of the pilot will be on NHS commissioned digital services that are compliant with the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies quality standards, that offer National Institute of Health and Care Excellence approved evidence based treatments for depression and anxiety disorders. The aim of the pilot is to increase access to these services and create a better case for the commissioning of, and usage of, digital mental health services which lead to better outcomes.</p><p> </p> more like this
