We are tracking the use of new psychoactive substances (which captures synthetic cannabinoids such as those in 'spice') though the annual Drug Misuse publication, which found that NPS use in England and Wales has fallen from 0.7 per cent in 2015/16 to 0.4 per cent in 2016/17. Police leaders - especially in England where referendum limits apply - were clear that they wanted additional flexibility to increase funding through precept. It is too early in the design and build process to confirm final staffing numbers.</p><p>Home Office and law enforcement agencies are working together to determine the size of the team that will lead the work to use the power in the Criminal Finances Act 2017 to forfeit criminal money held in suspended bank accounts.
