star this property answer text <p>This information is commercially sensitive.</p><p> </p><p>However the Word document attached lists the jobcentres that are due to move their services to other sites and to close by 31 March 2018. Exact dates for these sites are still being agreed but closures will be through a phased approach.</p><p> </p><p>We are taking a phased approach to the closure of these Jobcentres because there are a significant number of activities that need to take place to move people, our customers and caseloads to the importing Jobcentre. In phasing this work in this way, we can minimise the risk of any disruption to vital services. For the vast majority of DWP offices there will be no change in location. Where we are closing a site, we will take all possible precautions to minimise disruption for customers.</p><p> </p><p>This will mean that the DWP will be able to offer a more efficient service, while delivering good value for the taxpayer and saving over £140 million a year for the next 10 years.</p>

Interventions lasting 10 minutes or less (2,262,870) divided by total number of interventions (5,762,954) is 39%.</p><p>5.2.2. Interventions lasting 20 minutes or less (3,578,995) divided by total number of interventions (5,762,954) is 62%.</p><p>5.2.3. star this property answer text <p>Work Coaches working with their local managers are best placed to identify the support and guidance that is appropriate to each claimant to help them move in to work as quickly as possible.</p><p> </p><p>The length of the appointment and the number of times that a Work Coach sees a claimant is dependent upon which conditionality group they are placed in. As an example those claimants undertaking Intensive Work Search are required to attend mandatory face to face weekly interventions for the first 13 weeks of their claim</p><p> </p><p>Work Coaches have the flexibility to apply easements for attendance, for example:</p><p> </p><ul><li>temporary absence to receive medical treatment,</li><li>bereavement of partner or child,</li><li>domestic Violence,</li><li>child in distress,</li><li>drug/alcohol dependent,</li><li>carrying out public duty,</li><li>periods of sickness,</li><li>claimant in prison,</li><li>witness protection</li></ul> more like this

star this property answer text <p>DWP understands the potential impact that a closure or relocation of a Jobcentre may have and has engaged with stakeholders throughout the process from initial proposal to final decision. As Minister I have responded to all representations such as correspondence from individual customers and local groups, Trade Unions, requests for Westminster Hall debates and meetings with MPs and members from the devolved administrations. Our aim is to continue to maintain our services to claimants and will continue to support them throughout the changes in their Jobcentre location, taking into account their individual circumstances, including any health conditions, disabilities or caring responsibilities.</p> more like this
