star this property answer text <p>One of our aims for the Women’s Suffrage Centenary was to ensure more women participate in politics and decision-making. Whether that is to vote, to campaign or to stand for election, women must be there making the decisions.</p><p>Over the course of 2018, the Centenary Fund supported nearly 320 small and large projects. Many of them are ongoing and designed to encourage participation by offering women across the country information and training to take part in civic society at all levels. For example, on 21 November 2018, the Campaign group 50:50 Parliament’s #AskHerToStand event asked MPs to mentor women from their constituency for the day.</p> more like this

We recognise that the pandemic has put additional pressure on the entire courts and tribunal service, particularly the employment tribunal, and that restoring its existing levels of service needs to be the priority before additional loading is added.</p><p>While the time limit for bringing an Equality Act based claim to employment tribunal remains at three months, tribunals have the discretion to provide extensions where they consider it ‘just and equitable’ to do so.</p> more like this

That is why we will require large employers to publish information on the differences between men and women’s’ pay and bonuses. Gender pay gap reporting will also be extended to the public sector. We will continue taking action to inspire girls and young women; modernise workplaces; and support older working women.</p> more like this

As of today, there are 43 equivalence provisions in EU legislation across a range of financial services sectors, of which only three[1] state that jurisdictional equivalence can be withdrawn with 30 days’ notice. The agreement reached with the EU will establish new processes to give further confidence to firms and consumers that the equivalence relationship between the EU and UK will be a durable one.</p><p> </p><p>[1] MiFIR Article 33, STFR Article 21 and EMIR Article 13</p> more like this
