We will introduce legislation so that, in the future, ground rents on newly established leases of houses and flats are set at a peppercorn. Costs incurred by landlords for overseeing and appointing a managing agent, or carrying out wider services, can be recovered through the service charge or a marginally higher sales price.</p><p><br>Prior to introducing any final legislation in Parliament, the Government will undertake a regulatory impact assessment. As part of this evidence-based procedure, we will assess the economic, social, and environmental effects of the policy. Nobody should be attacked because of their race, religion, sexual orientation, transgender identity or disability. In July 2016, we published Action Against Hate: The UK Government’s Plan for Tackling Hate Crime, which we will be refreshing this year.</p><p> </p><p>We work closely with the police and the Community Security Trust (CST), who are members of the Cross Government Working Group on Tackling Antisemitism, alongside other Jewish stakeholders. In their recent report, the CST recorded 1,382 antisemitic incidents reported across the UK in the 2017, a 3 per cent increase from the 1,346 incidents recorded during 2016.</p><p> </p><p>Individual police forces collate and analyse intelligence on the number of antisemitic incidents, in order to inform local operational decisions and to provide adequate protection at times of demand. Every month the Department publishes its latest figures in a data release. We are considering what further information it may be appropriate to release.</p><p>Data on total numbers of public residential and public and private non-residential high-rise buildings are not held centrally.</p><p>The Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government has been working with local authorities to collect data on additional private sector buildings with similar combinations of Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding and insulation to those which have failed large-scale system tests, but which have not been tested by Building Research Establishment (BRE). Local authorities have assessed over 6,000 high rise private sector residential buildings using a combination of information from local fire and rescue services, building plans, ACM tests undertaken elsewhere, knowledge of similar buildings where BRE tests have confirmed ACM, and building inspections. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/06/2018 answer text <p>Local authorities have a duty under homelessness legislation to provide safe accommodation to a victim of domestic abuse who has had to flee their home. The Homelessness Statutory Code of Guidance provide local authorities with guidance on providing homeless services to people who experience domestic abuse or are at risk of domestic abuse.</p><p>Stronger duties to secure accommodation exist for households who have a priority need for accommodation. Priority need may include someone who is vulnerable in some way as a result of ceasing to occupy accommodation because of violence from another person or threats of violence from another person which are likely to be carried out.</p><p>Domestic violence and abuse can affect anyone regardless of their age, gender identity or reassignment, race, religion, class, sexual orientation and marital status. Housing authorities should bear in mind that the provisions of the <a href="https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2010/15/contents" target="_blank">Equality Act 2010</a> for public authorities apply to policies, practice and procedures relating to homelessness and domestic violence and abuse.</p><p>Government has consulted on what more can be done to protect domestic abuse victims through the Domestic Abuse Bill, which closed on 31 May.
