	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 13/11/2018 answer text <p>We have received a number of representations regarding section 106, as we have for other uncommenced provisions from the Equality Act 2010, and we continue to keep these provisions under review. Equality is never a one-time fix and it is right that we should keep re-examining the issues.</p><p>This Parliament is the most gender and LGBT diverse ever, but there is still more to do. Political parties are responsible for their candidate selection and should lead the way in improving women’s representation. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 06/11/2018 answer text <p>The social and economic cost of organised drugs supply to the UK is estimated to £20 billion for the financial year 2015/16. This is an increase of £9.3 billion compared to the previous estimate for the financial year 2010/11. This is due to:</p><ul><li>an increase in the unit costs used to estimate drug-related acquisitive crime;</li><li>an increase in the volume of drug-related deaths;</li><li>the inclusion of costs to the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the National Crime Agency, and expenditure on media information activity;</li><li>the inclusion of non-legal aid defence spending in the costs to the criminal justice system for drug possession and supply offences and, to a lesser extent, the opportunity cost of jurors’ time,</li></ul><p>Given much of the change in cost is attributable to changes in methodology, the 2015/16 estimate is not directly comparable with the 2010/11 estimate. Most of the change should not therefore be interpreted as a worsening of the overall situation.</p><p>The Government’s new Serious and Organised Crime Strategy emphasises the importance of tackling the high harm networks supplying drugs and trafficking them across the border. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2018 answer text <p>The Psychoactive Substances Act 2016 (2016 Act) bans the sale, supply, production and distribution of psychoactive substances, such as nitrous oxide, for human consumption</p><p>The Crown Prosecution Service continues to prosecute cases involving nitrous oxide under the 2016 Act successfully. The Government continue to work closely with the CPS, law enforcement and scientific experts to ensure that prosecutions of cases under the 2016 Act are supported by the best available evidence.</p><p>Since the 2016 Act came into force, over 300 retailers across the United Kingdom have either closed down or are no longer selling psychoactive substances and action by the National Crime Agency has resulted in the removal of psychoactive substances being sold by UK based websites. In 2016, there were 28 convictions in England and Wales and seven people jailed under the new powers. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 05/11/2018 answer text <p>The National Police Chiefs’ Council has established the vulnerability knowledge and practice programme (formerly vulnerability coordination centre) to improve police practice in recognition of the critical role of police in protecting vulnerable people. Four staff and two officers are employed on the programme.</p><p><br>Ministers have awarded £2.5million from the Police Transformation Fund over two years (2018/19 – 2019/20) to the College of Policing to improve the evaluation of promising practice in policing.
