The MEC is not currently supporting partners in Chin State. star this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Welsh Government and the UK Government have concurrent powers to promote international trade and inward investment. UK Trade &amp; Investment (UKTI) has lead UK responsibility for the provision of support and assistance to new and existing exporters of goods and services both at home and overseas. The Welsh Government is responsible for devising and implementing additional programmes to meet the particular needs of companies in Wales.</p><p> </p><p>UKTI works closely with the Welsh Government's trade and Investment team who deliver services on the ground in Wales. Companies in Wales therefore have access to the support provided both by Welsh Government and UKTI.</p><p> </p><p>UKTI uses its Performance and Impact Monitoring Surveys (PIMS) to measure the performance and impact of its support across the UK. The PIMS evidence is periodically complemented by independent impact evaluations. The UN's ‘Trends in International Migrant Stock: Migrants by Destination and Origin' suggests that around 5.0 million British born migrants <br>are residing overseas. <br><a href="http://esa.un.org/unmigration/data/subsheets/UN_MigrantStockByOriginAndDestination_2013T10.xls" target="_blank">http://esa.un.org/unmigration/data/subsheets/UN_MigrantStockByOriginAndDestination_2013T10.xls</a> <br><br>The table below provides the top twenty countries by number of resident UK born migrants according to the World Bank 2010 and UN 2013 datasets.</p><p> </p><p>There are known gaps in the estimates produced by both the World Bank and the UN, so the lists of countries drawn from their respective databases may not be complete and may not be directly comparable (see attached table).</p><p> </p>

star this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Modern Slavery Stakeholder Forum was set up in February 2014 and has met three times. Its pre-cursor, the Joint Strategic Group, was set up in early 2013 and also met three times. The Modern Slavery Stakeholder Forum provides an opportunity for the Home Office to engage with partners, understand what is happening on the front-line, and develop policy collaboratively. Non-Governmental attendees have the opportunity to engage with officials and Ministers, and to influence policy making. <br><br>The minutes of these meetings are made available to all attendees and are public documents available to anyone who requests them. However, it is not considered appropriate to place the minutes of each meeting in Library of the House.<br><br>The invite list for these meetings is subject to regular review and attendance varies depending on the availability of those invited and the topics for discussion. At the last meeting of 10 June 2014, 16 public officials attended which included officials from the Home Office, other government departments, law enforcement agencies and the devolved administrations. 20 representatives of non-governmental organisations were invited of whom 15 attended. Separate meetings are held with private sector representatives.<br><br>No advisors or experts, paid for by public funds, are ordinarily invited to the stakeholder forum meetings.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>

star this property answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>Between 27 April 2012 and 31 May 2014 the ACPO Criminal Records Office received 24 notifications concerning convictions for the rape of a minor; 15 concerning sexual exploitation of children; 39 concerning sexual assault of a minor and 40 relating to child pornography. These statistics are only for notifications from the 19 EU countries with which the UK exchanges criminal records electronically. <br><br>Between 1 January 2010 and 26 April 2012 the ACPO Criminal Records received 56 notifications concerning convictions for sexual offences against children and 23 notifications concerning child pornography. These figures are for notifications from all EU Member States. <br><br>Between 1 June 2012 and 31 May 2014 the ACPO Criminal Records Office received 34 notifications concerning convictions for sexual offences against children and 8 concerning child pornography. These notifications are from countries outside the European Union. Information in this form was not available prior to 1 June 2012. <br><br>Separate records from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) show that there were 51 new cases of child sex offences in 2013 and, so far this year, 31 new cases of child pornography. These will involve people seeking consular assistance from the FCO and so will include individuals in custody, not just those who have been convicted. There may also be some overlap between the FCO statistics and those from the ACPO Criminal Records Office. <br><br>Information is not held centrally on the number of these people who were working or volunteering in children’s homes and schools, whether inside or outside the United Kingdom.</p><p> </p>
