This represents £11 million of business for British dairy farmers.</p><p>We are working with all central Departments to ensure their food and catering contracts comply with the balanced scorecard approach.</p><p>The Ministry of Justice recently launched a tender for supplying food to prisons, worth £500m, which requires bids to use the balanced scorecard. From April this year all 30 million portions of UHT milk supplied to prisons each year is 100% British milk. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government is committed to maintaining the UK’s position as a world leader in science and innovation and has introduced a wide range of policies to stimulate private sector investment in Research and Development, ranging from increases in government funding of R&amp;D to improvements to the wider institutional and tax environment for R&amp;D and a new patient capital investment programme. Internationally, the UK is a highly attractive place for R&amp;D, ranking 4<sup>th</sup> on the 2018 global innovation index.</p><p> </p><p>Since 2016, the Government has committed an additional £7bn of public funding to R&amp;D by 2021-22. This is the largest boost by any government for 40 years and will leverage significant private investment. On average, every public pound spent on R&amp;D generates an additional £1.36 of private spending. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/11/2018 answer text <p>The Government has always urged families to claim Child Benefit to help protect their future right to the State Pension.</p><p> </p><p>The legislation sets out that claims for Child Benefit (and the accompanying National Insurance credit) can only be backdated for three months.</p><p> </p><p>Successive governments have considered that three months is a fair and reasonable time in which to allow those wishing to claim Child Benefit to do so.</p><p> </p><p>Even though there may be no question that some parents would have been entitled to Child Benefit had they claimed earlier, such certainty is not obvious in every case.
