Based on the information held by DCMS, the number created each year since 2009 is:<br></p><p>2009: 1</p><p>2010: 4</p><p>2011: 43</p><p>2012: 13</p><p>2013: 17</p><p>2014: 12</p><p>2015: 11</p><p>2016: 2</p><p>2017 (to date): 3</p><p><br> There is no obligation for new public service mutuals to inform DCMS that they have spun out, so these numbers reflect the extent of our knowledge of the sector.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>A configuration error from a supplier led to data containing 801 email addresses, usernames, company name, and IP addresses from 800 companies, including assessors of and applicants to the scheme, being exposed. There is no information to suggest it was extracted. No personal data was released. The scheme's certification bodies and all 801 email addresses were notified by email and were provided directly with advice and guidance.</p><p> </p><p>Cyber Essentials remains one of the best ways for organisations to test and show they have protected themselves against the most common cyber threats, including phishing and malware attacks. All firms which rely on the internet should aim to have a Cyber Essentials certificate to show they have met the minimum standards.</p> more like this

In addition, the Government has received regular updates from Equifax. The National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), the National Crime Agency, the Financial Conduct Authority and the Information Commissioner’s Office are assessing the impact on UK consumers and are discussing the scope of the company’s consumer notifications.</p> more like this
