<p>Defra has issued guidance to animal transporters on the processes that apply in relation to import and export rules and animal welfare in the event of no deal and contingency measures that can be taken to mitigate the risks to welfare of animals being stuck in queues. Transporters have a legal duty to safeguard the welfare of their animals.</p><p> </p>
