star this property answer text <p>The government is committed to combatting all types of discrimination in the workplace and wider society.</p><p> </p><p>Many public-sector bodies are exempt from corporation tax and can either reclaim VAT on their purchases or are funded to cover their VAT liabilities. Therefore, they could not be incentivised through tax reliefs to invest further in accessibility to public buildings.</p><p> </p><p>The Equality Act 2010 requires all companies and organisations to make reasonable adjustments to remove the barriers faced by the disabled to ensure they have access to the same services as someone who is not disabled.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Agencies must deduct Income Tax and National Insurance Contributions (NICs) at source from payments of earnings to agency workers. HMRC’s processes for collecting any Income Tax and NICs due from agencies under Pay As You Earn (PAYE) are the same as those for other employers.</p><p> </p><p>Where HMRC finds that a UK agency has failed to account for Income Tax and NICs in circumstances where the agency rules apply to them, it will usually seek to recover unpaid amounts due from them. Whether the agency rules apply in a particular case is dependent on the facts of that case.</p> more like this
