These reports can be found on GOV.UK.</p><p>Firstly, the report “Leadership and Management in the UK - the Key to Sustainable Growth” was published in 2012. This summarised the key evidence and set out the benefits of business investment in leadership and management skills.</p><p>The research report “Does Worker Wellbeing Affect Workplace Performance?” was published in October 2014. The analysis suggested that well-being is also positively associated with workplace financial performance, labour productivity and the quality of output or service.</p><p>Most recently, the research report, “Leadership and management skills in small and medium-sized businesses” was published in 2015. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 07/04/2017 answer text <p>In 2015 the UK government published its productivity plan ‘Fixing the Foundations: Creating a more prosperous nation’, which acknowledged the importance of management and leadership performance in improving productivity performance.</p><p> </p><p>At the Autumn Statement 2016 the government announced that will it provide £13 million to support firms’ plans to improve their management skills and leadership by implementing Sir Charlie Mayfield’s review of business productivity.</p><p> </p><p>In 2014 the government supported the creation of a new What Works Centre for Wellbeing. We have provided a framework to build on the strengths of different places and address the factors that hold others back. This will include investing in key infrastructure projects, increasing skill levels, and backing local innovation strengths.</p><p>The Industrial Strategy will build on the £12 billion Local Growth Fund (2015-16 to 2020-21) for local areas; 8 Devolution Deals; and 48 Enterprise Zones that will unlock £2.7 billion of private sector investment. At Summer Budget 2015, we announced that maintenance grants would be replaced by more generous maintenance loans and that we would consult on freezing the repayment threshold for loan repayments. She will publish her final report before Budget 2016. In addition, we have appointed Crossrail chair Terry Morgan to develop a transport and infrastructure skills strategy. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 10/11/2015 answer text <p>The Road Investment Strategy provides certainty about road investment ensuring more efficient operation and faster delivery for the English strategic road network. It sets out the vision and investment plan for a five year period from 2015 to 2020, encouraging the supply chain to invest and innovate from the long term certainty that this provides. Highways England is responsible for delivering the strategy and has been set a series of demanding targets by Government, which is regularly assessed, including independent monitoring by the Office of Rail and Road.</p><p>The combination of the measures will save the taxpayer £1.2 billion in the next 5 years and at least £2.6 billion over ten years.
