star this property answer text <p>Full impact and equality impact assessments will be undertaken in due course.</p><p> </p><p>Single people under 35 will be exempt from the Shared Accommodation Rate if they fall into one of the categories below:</p><ul><li>They have children or a non-dependent living with them;</li><li>They qualify for a severe disability premium;</li><li>If they have left care and are under the age of 22;</li><li>If they have an extra bedroom for a non-resident carer providing overnight care;</li><li>If they are a foster carer;</li><li>They are aged 25 to 34 years old and have spent at least 3 months in a homeless hostel or hostel specialising in rehabilitation and resettlement;</li><li>They are aged 25 to 34 years old who are an ex-offender managed under a multi-agency MAPPA agreement.</li></ul><p>For those who are not covered by these exemptions, they will be able to apply for Discretionary Housing Payments if they need help meeting the shortfall in their rent.</p> more like this

The Review will draw on information from externally commissioned qualitative and quantitative surveys conducted with those who use the Child Maintenance Service, as well as analysis of national data on separated families, including those who have chosen not to make maintenance arrangements through the statutory systems. We have also engaged with a number of relevant external stakeholder organisations who have been invited to provide a written response to a series of questions on charging.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government introduced the National Living Wage on 1 April 2016. This will put over £900 more a year in the pockets of full-time workers compared to the current National Minimum Wage.</p><p> </p><p>The Department ensures that all direct employees are paid at least the mandatory National Living Wage set by the Government, regardless of age. Similarly all agency staff and those on outsourced contracts are paid at least this rate. The Department reviews pay annually, setting pay at rates that will attract and motivate appropriate numbers and sufficient talent to fulfil its duties to some 22 million customers.</p><p> </p><p>None of our employees nor those working for our contractors are on zero hours contracts.</p> more like this
