The cause of the fire is principally a matter for the relevant authorities to investigate. I have also asked the Building Research Establishment to visit the scene to supplement the work of the relevant authorities and ensure that the necessary information is gathered to support proper consideration of this incident.</p><p> </p> more like this

A call for evidence to inform the review has recently been completed. Views and evidence were invited on the current thresholds and trigger heights in the guidance. The Department is currently reviewing the responses to the call for evidence and will set out its response in due course.</p> more like this
