star this property answer text <p>The Wales Office does not record how many of its staff are members of a trade union. The Department is not an employer in its own right and most of our staff are employed by the Ministry of Justice (MOJ).</p><p> </p><p>The MOJ held data until December 2014 on the number of staff (including Wales Office staff) who were members of a trade union. However, following the removal of check-off as a method of payment for members to pay for union subscriptions it is no longer possible to verify the numbers of staff that are trade union members.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Department has no policy responsibility in relation to Gypsies and Travellers in Wales.</p><p> </p><p>The Race Disparity Audit website displays data where possible using the Census 2011 ethnic categories, which includes Gypsy or Irish Traveller.</p><p> </p><p>The Office for National Statistics (ONS) and the Race Disparity Unit work closely together to further progress the harmonisation of ethnicity data across the Government Statistical Service (GSS) and to improve the coverage of ethnic groups including Gypsy, Roma and Travellers.</p><p> </p><p>The Race Disparity Audit Inter Ministerial Group chaired by the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster discusses matters pertaining to the progress of the Race Disparity Audit, including the collection of ethnicity data.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this
