This approach delivers the best possible value for money for the UK taxpayer, allowing us to take advantage of established production lines and the resulting economies of scale, while ensuring we deliver a world-leading capability to our Armed Forces.</p><p>A number of UK companies have secured work on the global Apache supply chain, delivering products that will be used in our new helicopters and those being delivered to the US Army as well as other international customers. There will also be significant opportunities for UK companies to assist in the provision of support and training services for our new Apache helicopter fleet.</p><p>Separately, as per the announcement at Farnborough Airshow on 11 July 2016, Boeing are investing significantly in the UK creating more than 100 new jobs.</p><p><del class="ministerial">We are buying our new Apache AH-64E helicopters through a Foreign Military Sale with the United States Government. The deficit has more than halved as a share of GDP from its post-war peak of 10.2% in 2009-10 to 4.8% by the end of last year. The latest data published jointly by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) and HM Treasury shows that public sector net borrowing for April 2015 is £6.8bn, down £2.5bn compared to the same time last year. This temporary period of falling prices is boosting real wages and supporting household spending and economic growth in the short term. But the government is vigilant to the risk of a period of sustained price declines. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/06/2015 answer text <p>Under the Financial Services Act 2012 the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) was made subject to National Audit Office (NAO) audit with the associated ability of the NAO to launch Value for Money (VFM) studies of the FCA into its economy, efficiency and effectiveness. The NAO recently reported on the FCA, as well as the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), in March 2014. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/06/2015 answer text <p>The UK already has a robust regulatory regime to protect consumers in the UK mortgage market.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>As such, the Government’s approach to the implementation of the Mortgage Credit Directive, has been to minimise the impact on the UK market by building on the existing UK regulatory framework.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Under this framework, the independent regulator, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) is responsible for the rules that mortgage providers must comply with, including what type of information they must provide to consumers.
