	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/02/2019 answer text <p>The UK Government supports a range of renewable energy schemes in Wales through the Renewables Obligation and Feed-in Tariffs schemes, and has supported 192 MW of renewable energy generation in Wales through the Contracts for Difference (CfD) Scheme. The Government plans to open a further CfD allocation round by May 2019, and Welsh stakeholders were invited to contribute to the consultation process at an event in Cardiff on 20 February 2018.</p><p> </p><p>The Government is investing in Wales to support its low carbon generation targets through initiatives such as the Pembroke Dock Marine project in the Swansea Bay City Deal. The Bill is yet to be introduced, but we expect to seek the legislative consent of the National Assembly for Wales for some of its provisions.</p><p> </p><p>The UK Government has undertaken extensive and meaningful engagement with the Welsh Government in preparing the Bill. Regular JMC (European Negotiations) meetings have provided a productive forum for Ministers from the UK, Welsh and Scottish governments to discuss the Bill. The UK Government has also shared clauses in draft with Ministers from the devolved administrations, allowing them the opportunity to comment and inform the UK Government’s approach to the Bill. UK Government officials have also met with their counterparts in the Welsh Government on a fortnightly basis since the summer to discuss the Bill. Direct comparisons of the GMPP across years should therefore be treated with caution. Projects join and leave the GMPP throughout the year and it is therefore likely that a simple comparison across two-time points will refer to different sets of projects.</p><p> </p><p>My Office works with lead Government departments on a range of major project investments in Wales in non-devolved sectors. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/02/2019 answer text <p>The Government has made good progress in laying the up to 600 statutory instruments required by exit day to ensure a functioning statute book, including laying over 120 SIs in Parliament to make necessary changes on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales. All exit related statutory instruments are published on legislation.gov.uk, and include ‘EU Exit’ in their title.</p><p> </p><p>My Office is working with other Government departments and with the Welsh Government to prepare an Order to make the necessary amendments to the Government of Wales Act 2006 in light of EU exit. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/01/2019 answer text <p>On 19 October 2018, the Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) announced that it had terminated the contract for difference awarded to Station Yard CFD 1 during the second Contracts for Difference (CfD) allocation round in 2017. Station Yard is a 0.05MW Advanced Conversion Technology with Combined Heat and Power project located in Llangadog, Carmarthenshire. The project’s contract was terminated because it failed to make sufficient progress towards meeting its milestone requirement to demonstrate a commitment within one year of signing a CfD to deliver the project. It is estimated that had Station Yard been commissioned it would have received support of less than £70,000 (in 2017/18 prices) for electricity generated over the 15-year period of its contract.</p><p> </p><p>A CfD is a private law contract between a generator and the LCCC, a government-owned company. CfDs are managed independently by the LCCC and decisions as to whether a generator has met its milestone requirement are for the LCCC. The milestone requirement is a contractual requirement.
