star this property answer text <p>The Department publishes information on its services on GOV.UK. Documents we publish can be requested in an alternative format, in line with the Equalities Act 2010, and this includes British Sign Language.</p><p>When hosting staff events we provide a British Sign Language signer where one has been requested in advance.</p><p>We have existing frameworks in place to provide communication support services which includes BSL Interpreters. In circumstances where this service is not suitable for the individuals requirements we have arrangements in place to provide alternative support though the Crown Commercial Service framework agreements.</p><p>We ask our customers if they require any reasonable adjustments and aim to meet their bespoke needs.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government is clear that reducing the harms caused by drugs needs to be part of a balanced approach.</p><p> </p><p>The use of prescribed diamorphine is distinct from drug consumption rooms, in which drug users inject illicitly obtained drugs under supervision. A range of offences are likely to be committed in the operation of drug consumption rooms. There are no plans to amend legislation to permit the use of drug consumption rooms.</p> more like this

The Advocates will help to protect trafficked children from further harm, including preventing children from being re-trafficked or going missing.</p><p>On 16 January, the Home Secretary announced the award of £2.2m from the Child Trafficking Protection Fund (CTPF) to seven organisations to protect vulnerable children in the UK and overseas who are at risk of trafficking. The CTPF has two objectives. First, victim support and recovery, including specialist care to trafficked children. Second, reducing vulnerability to exploitation, by preventing trafficked children from going missing and potentially being re-trafficked. The projects cover a range of proposals including tailored support for trafficking victims from various cultures, developing skills and expertise in local areas, and a specialist accommodation pilot.</p>

Groups can make multiple applications, with a maximum value for each of £50,000 for a grant application and £75,000 for in-kind support.</p><p> </p><p>All civil society groups in receipt of BSBT funding are working to tackle extremism as defined in the Counter Extremism Strategy.
