	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 20/11/2017 answer text <p>The Government has no plans to designate a group of healthcare professionals focused on the prevention of rickets.</p><p>Rickets can generally be prevented by ensuring that children have a healthy, balanced diet, spend some time outside in the sun and take appropriate supplements containing ten micrograms of vitamin D. There is already a range of resources available to increase awareness of the need for vitamin D supplements, including advice on the NHS Choices website on the importance of vitamin D for bone health, and supplements are readily available over the counter and through the Healthy Start vitamins scheme.</p><p>In August the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) updated its public health guidance on increasing vitamin D supplement use among population groups at risk of vitamin D deficiency, in the light of the 2016 Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition report on Vitamin D and health. A copy of <em>Vitamin D: supplement use in specific population groups </em>is attached. This guideline includes recommendations on how to: increase access to and availability of vitamin D supplements, including for at-risk groups such as the BAME community, ensure health professionals recommend vitamin D supplements, raise awareness of the importance of these supplements amongst the population, and monitor provision and uptake of vitamin D supplements. Local commissioners will wish to consider how best to take forward these recommendations in respect of local BAME populations.</p><p>The Government has made no formal assessment of the research referred to. This enables the Government to use the best available evidence, throughout the policy and decision-making process, to drive long-term systems change and enable staff to collectively solve the most pressing policy challenges. They also use data to track delivery of government priority programs, working closely with Delivery Unit. The military's use of indiscriminate airstrikes continues to cause harm and suffering across the country. In response, the British Embassy in Yangon issued a statement with likeminded partners condemning the attacks. This can be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/speeches/vision-for-electoral-registration-speech-by-john-penrose.</p><p>Online registration is making the process notably quicker, easier and more convenient for everybody, but particularly for under-registered groups like young people; 2.9 million 16-24 year olds have applied since June 2014. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 21/10/2021 answer text <p>The Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) has three driving test centres in Surrey: Reigate/Redhill, Guildford and Chertsey. The below figures show the number of full time and part time driving examiners permanently based at these centres:</p><p>(1) 2019 – 17 full time and 6 part time driving examiners;</p><p>(2) 2020 – 18 full time and 2 part time driving examiners;</p><p>(3) 2021 – 17 full time driving examiners.</p><p>The DVSA will deploy other driving examiners into the Surrey area depending on the demand for testing.</p><p>In the last two years, the DVSA has closed 12 driving test centres. Those test centres are:</p><p>Lerwick (Shetland) LGV, Patrick Green goods vehicle testing station (GVTS), Macclesfield multi-purpose test centre, Cheadle, Birmingham (Cocks Moor Woods), Llandrindod Wells, Westbury, Bristol, Hemel Hempstead, Greenford, Canterbury GVTS and Hayes.</p><p>The DVSA continually reviews its operational estate to ensure that it is fit for purpose and represents good value for money for the public purse, while maintaining a good service provision across its operation.</p><p> </p><p>In the last two years, the DVSA has closed 18 theory test centres. The DVSA has relocated the testing provision for these 18 theory test centres to alternative locations within the new network that has greater coverage for candidates nationally to ensure testing provision can continue.</p><p> </p><p>The 18 closed theory test centres are:</p><p> </p><p>Blackpool, Clydebank, Driffield, Morpeth, Oldham, Salford, Scunthorpe, Skipton, Southport, St Helens, Wigan, Crawley, Basildon, Dereham, Ely, Harlow, Mansfield and Stevenage.</p><p>Note that from 6 September the contract for running theory test centres has been split into three regions.
