star this property answer text <p>The Government is committed to identifying and supporting victims of modern slavery. When a potential victim is referred to the National Referral Mechanism (NRM) and the competent authority finds reasonable grounds to believe they are victim, that person becomes entitled to support. Potential victims are entitled to support for a minimum of 45 days for recovery and reflection, or until they receive a conclusive grounds decision confirming their victim status. Since 1st February confirmed victims receive a further 45 days of move-on support to help them transition to the next phase of their lives.</p><p><br>Child victims of modern slavery are supported by local authorities under existing statutory child protection arrangements.</p><p><br>The National Crime Agency regularly publishes NRM data, including the “National Referral Mechanism Statistics End of Year Summary 2018” which was published on 20th March 2019. star this property answer text <p>The Government’s position remains that exiting the EU with a deal is in the UK’s best interests. Alongside this, the Government has been working closely with operational partners to prepare for all eventualities, including leaving the EU without a deal. The conversion of UK issued Schengen Information alerts to Interpol notices and diffusions is one element of this.</p><p>Our preparedness includes supporting and funding the creation of the new International Crime Co-ordination Centre (ICCC). In light of the extension, we would expect the ICCC to work with police forces on preparing to use Interpol in place of SIS II, if that becomes necessary, in the most efficient way possible.</p> more like this

This is because a manual search through individual records would be required to identify victims of modern slavery who were granted protection-based leave or another form of leave more favourable than discretionary leave as a consequence of their exploitation.</p><p>As identified victims include EEA nationals who may be exercising treaty rights it is not possible to provide a compete figure for the number of vic-tims who have agreed to return to their country of origin.</p><p>The National Crime Agency publishes statistics on referrals into the National Referral Mechanism on a quarterly basis. star this property answer text <p>Of the 7,318 referrals to the Prevent programme in 2017/18, 1,312 (18%) related to Right Wing Extremism. Police data shows that five (0.4%) of those 1,312 referrals were made by the military.</p><p>This figure does not necessarily capture all military veterans referred to Prevent, since these may originate from others who may not know and individual’s employment history, including military service. The MOD issued a new Prevent policy in March 2019 and police, MOD and the Home Office are working closely together to ensure that appropriate support is offered to individuals vulnerable to being drawn into terrorism, including veterans and other individuals with links to the military.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The UK Visas &amp; Immigration (UKVI) customer contact centres are in place to support customers seeking advice about making a visa related application and the options available to them based on their circumstance including navigating GOV.UK, guidance and immigration rules. <br>The customer contact centres can also help customers to get an update on their application if this is outside of the published service standards.</p><p>We constantly review the service delivery and our quality levels to ensure we are providing the right level of customer service and support to our customers.</p><p>The customer contact centres services delivered by Sitel UK LTD is one of a number of information channels available to applicants. For example, customers have access to the our Gov.uk website to access all relevant information at no cost.</p><p>From within the UK there is no charge for contacting UKVI by e-mail, whilst phone calls are charged at the caller’s standard network rate. Customers and agents who contact UKVI from outside the UK will be charged their standard network rate plus £1.37 per minute. A customer is only charged at the £1.37 per minute rate once they connect to an agent. We do not hold data on how a call was made (via Landline or Mobile)<br> <br>The table(s) below shows the calls received by the Croydon Contact Centre (CCC); these are calls from Asylum support customers, DNA hotline and sponsors / educational establishments. All other customer calls are handled by Sitel and HGS; these figures are not available as they are commercially sensitive.
