After the implementation period, all laws in the UK will be passed by our elected representatives in Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 18/12/2018 answer text <p>The introduction of a mental health strategy in Northern Ireland, as a devolved matter, is the responsibility of the Northern Ireland Department of Health.</p><p> </p><p>The Department is developing a five year plan for mental health with the focus on improving the general mental health of people in Northern Ireland. Whilst publication of any plan will be subject to future Ministerial approval, the plan will be fully co-produced with extensive engagement with the sector throughout each stage of the process. This includes the £1.5 billion of additional funding HM Treasury announced at Autumn Budget 2017 for 2018/19.
