I have today written to the Prime Minister about an exchange of letters between the Prime Minister and the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission. Given the exceptional circumstances surrounding the vote on the Withdrawal Agreement and the Government's commitment to provide Parliament with information to assist it to understand the Agreement, I have agreed that this letter should be published</p><p>It is available online <a href="https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/letter-from-the-attorney-general-to-the-prime-minister-on-the-northern-ireland-protocol" target="_blank">here</a> and copies have been deposited in the Libraries of both Houses.</p><p> </p><p> </p> more like this

The Government has already published a collection of material to support public and parliamentary assessment of the deal. star this property answer text <p>The Government continues to prepare for a range of possible scenarios to maintain continuity of existing trading relationships, including one in which we do not reach an agreement with the EU on the terms of our withdrawal. As the Chancellor said to the Treasury Select Committee, should there be no deal, we would react to that in the usual way and support the economy through whatever transition is needed to get to a new, appropriate equilibrium.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Cabinet Office is leading and coordinating the cross-departmental Prepare for EU Exit public information campaign to help fulfil the Government’s duty to inform citizens and businesses about how leaving the EU might affect them, and to advise them on the steps they may need to take to prepare. In the coming weeks and months, we plan to use a range of paid-for and no-cost channels to direct citizens and businesses to a dedicated area on <a href="http://gov.uk/" target="_blank">GOV.UK</a> at Gov.uk/euexit.</p><p> </p><p>On 8 January 2019, we launched a series of three radio adverts - to citizens, businesses and travellers - across UK-wide commercial stations, encouraging listeners to visit the website.</p><p> </p><p>The Cabinet Office has undertaken to publish information relating to ongoing expenditure on the public information campaign as part of the department’s monthly data transparency releases.
