The UK contribution to the 2018 CERF was US$114.3million, or £89 million. Information is published through the UN-managed Financial Tracking Service. The UK's £75 million migration programme is still in operation, running from 2018 to 2021. Details of our allocations to partners and spend to date, including those operating in Libya, are available on Development Tracker. We continue to urge the interim Government of National Unity to take steps to end the exploitation and abuse of migrants and to implement a better functioning system that respects human rights. We support the UN's call for detention centres across Libya to be closed, and call on all parties to engage with the UN and the humanitarian community so that all migrants and refugees can be evacuated safely in accordance with international human rights law. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 04/03/2019 answer text <p>Since October 2015, the UK has allocated over £175 million of humanitarian assistance in response to the Mediterranean migration crisis, including substantial support in Libya. Projects related to migration, dating back to 2015, are listed below.</p><p>As part of the Department for International Development's £75 million programme supporting interventions in origin, transit and destination countries across the sub-Saharan and north African migration routes, up to £5 million will be allocated to humanitarian assistance and protection for migrants and refugees in Libya. In addition, a new multi-year programme worth £3.29 million focuses on multi-sector humanitarian assistance and building capacity of primary health care services.</p><p>These programmes illustrate the UK's &quot;whole of route&quot; approach to supporting safe, legal and well-managed migration. This means working to bring about an end to conflicts, helping migrant origin countries to reduce the drivers of illegal migration by building stability, and tackling criminal smuggling gangs.</p><p> </p><p>Under DFID’s £75 million humanitarian migration programme, we have allocated up to £5 million to assistance and protection for vulnerable refugees and migrants in Libya, which includes targeted healthcare provision. Currently the CSSF supports the National Crime Agency-led Organised Immigration Crime Taskforce which, in the last 12 months, has supported the development of a Libyan-owned serious organised crime strategy, sharing best practice with the Libya Attorney-General's Office, and building niche law enforcement capabilities with trusted Libyan partners to tackle modern slavery and organised immigration crime threats.
