star this property answer text <ol><li>The Prime Minister has publicly stated that education, particularly standing up for the right of every girl in the world to have 12 years of quality education, is a priority for the UK. Between 2009 and 2018, the Government spent £7.08 billion bilaterally from the public purse to support the fulfilment of the UN sustainable development goal on education. This does not include all multilateral spend. Between 2015 and 2019 DFID supported 14.8 million children to gain a decent education, of which at least 5.8 million were girls. UKAid is spent in the countries that need it the most. From 2015 to 2018, the largest number of children supported by DFID education programmes was in Africa, where the majority of out of school children live. Most of the children supported by DFID’s education programmes live in fragile states.</li></ol> more like this

The project trained a total of 16 women that were previously not in employment. 8 women (50%) progressed into employment or further accredited training. The majority of the employment offers were within the HS2 supply chain.</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>Walsall College</p></td><td><p>Walsall Expo</p></td><td><p>HS2 Ltd joined our Tier 1 Main Works Civils Contractor Balfour Beatty Vinci (BBV) at the Walsall Expo in March 2020. Walsall Expo is held at Walsall College and organised by Walsall Works which is funded by Walsall Council to support local people to find jobs, apprenticeships and access training, while also supporting local businesses that are looking to expand and invest in their future workforce. We were able to promote a number of live opportunities including our apprenticeship and graduate opportunities. BBV were also able to promote their Materials Testing opportunities as well as other live vacancies. In total approximately 1,700 jobseekers attended the event.</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>Walsall College</p></td><td><p>T Levels</p></td><td><p>Balfour Beatty Vinci, Main Works Contractor, is working with Walsall College to deliver their first T level in Construction: Design, Surveying and Planning.</p></td></tr><tr><td><p>Warwickshire College Group</p></td><td><p>Rail and Construction Industry Day</p></td><td><p>HS2 Ltd, Main Works Civils Contractors Balfour Beatty Vinci &amp; Eiffage-Kier along with Enabling Works contractors Laing Murphy &amp; Fusion attended the Warwickshire College Group Rail and Construction Industry day in March 2019. star this property answer text <p>1,241,038 people have been invited for a lung cancer check, as part of the biggest programme to improve early lung cancer diagnosis in the history of the National Health Service. The Targeted Lung Health Check uses vans parked in supermarkets or sports stadium car parks. Risk assessments are often carried out over the phone.</p><p>The national targeted lung cancer screening programme will implement a standard IT system that will ensure consistent call and recall so that people are invited regularly.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>189 National Health Service trusts, or 90%, have successfully implemented an Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, meeting the target set by the Government in the 2023 mandate for NHS England. Our ambition remains that complete coverage of all NHS trusts will be achieved by March 2026.</p><p> </p><p>At present, there are 21, or 10%, NHS secondary care trusts in England that do not have an EPR system. These trusts are currently in different phases of adoption. There are no immediate plans to publish a list of trusts without EPRs while procurement is still live.</p> more like this
