All 14 local authorities are in England. These dates have been selected to sit alongside published data and are based on operational performance reporting. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/03/2016 answer text <p>The accommodation in Kingfisher Unit is used for individuals removed from general association in accordance with Rules 40 (removed from association) and 42 (temporary confinement) of the Detention Centre Rules 2001.</p><p>Rule 40 states that an individual may be removed from association where it appears necessary in the interests of security or safety that they should not associate with other detained persons, either generally or for particular purposes.</p><p>Rule 42 states that a violent or refractory individual may be confined temporarily in special accommodation, but not as a punishment, or after he/she has ceased to be refractory or violent.</p><p>Management information held by the service provider, Serco, for Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre is only available for the number of instances that the accommodation was used for these purposes and cannot be provided for the numbers of individuals except at disproportionate cost.</p> answering member constituency Old Bexley and Sidcup answering member printed James Brokenshire question first answered 15/03/2016 16:57:14 answering member 1530 label Biography information for James Brokenshire

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/03/2016 answer text <p>Serco commissioned an independent investigation by Kate Lampard into the culture and staffing at Yarl's Wood. The report was published in January 2016. Serco has responded quickly to the recommendations in the report and has agreed or completed 32 of the 35 recommendations. These include an increase in staffing levels and introducing changes to policies to ensure that all detainees are treated in a safe and dignified manner. As of 9 March 2016, 55% of Serco’s operational staff at Yarl’s Wood are women.</p><p>The Government is addressing the issue of welfare in detention through its response to Stephen Shaw’s review set out in the Written Ministerial Statement laid before the House on 14 January. 	question text	To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what assessment she has made of trends in the level of risk of online harm as more people spend time online during the covid-19 outbreak.

	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 19/06/2020 answer text <p>We know that people are spending more time online during this period and this can put them at greater risk of experiencing online harm. We have been working closely with technology companies, civil society and academia to understand and respond to the risks presented during this period. Although it is too early to confidently analyse patterns from this period, there is universal concern about keeping children safe online.</p><p>HMG published new guidance on April 23rd to help all users to stay safe online during the coronavirus outbreak. It includes detailed advice on protecting personal data, cyber security and disinformation. It also provides additional guidance for parents on online safety issues affecting children such as child sexual abuse, exposure to age-inappropriate content and cyberbullying. In addition, the NCA has published information on how to avoid fraud and scams linked to Covid-19.</p><p>This Government is committed to delivering legislation to tackle online harms. This will introduce a statutory duty of care on companies to take steps to protect their users from harm, including child sexual exploitation and abuse. We are currently working swiftly to prepare a full Government response, which we will publish later this year. This will include more detailed proposals on online harms regulation and will be released alongside interim voluntary codes of practice on tackling online terrorist and child sexual exploitation and abuse content and activity.
