A more cohesive society leads to lower levels of prejudice and hate crime, and greater opportunities for all, creating socially and economically stronger and more confident communities.</p><p>While the policy area and many of the policy functions related to community cohesion are essentially a devolved matter, there is a clear need for engagement with the devolved administrations on this topic.
