	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/11/2018 answer text <p>The UK is seeking reciprocal arrangements on road haulage in our negotiations with the EU and we are confident of reaching a good deal which works for this key sector. Through the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act and subsequent regulations, the Government is prepared for the range of possible outcomes, including the unlikely possibility of a no-deal outcome.</p><p> </p><p>The work the Department has undertaken will ensure we are able to allocate permits efficiently to deliver the greatest economic benefit should demand exceed supply. The Government is committed to working with the profession in the first half of 2015 to make progress on reforms that will ensure the legal aid advocacy market operates competitively, sustainably and in such a way as to optimise quality. In particular, the Government proposes to take steps to ensure that defendants in criminal cases always have an informed and effective choice of the advocate who is to represent them. The Government also proposes to take measures to strengthen the current ban by the Legal Aid Agency on the payment or receipt of referral fees and to address any potential conflicts of interest.
