	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 08/04/2014 answer text <p> </p><p>The number of drivers that opted for a National Driver Offender Retraining <br>Scheme (NDORS) speed awareness course rather than accept penalty points on <br>their driving licence in 2010 is 447,833, in 2011 is 772,180, 2012 is 926,155 and in<br>2013 is 953,464. These reflect the latest updated figures. <br>The offer of a speed awareness course is at the discretion of the police. To be <br>deemed eligible there must be no excessive speed or other offences committed at <br>the same time. We have made real progress through our work with the internet industry. <br>Following this work, internet search engines have made changes to <br>their search mechanisms, and these new measures have been effective in making <br>it harder to access child abuse images. For example, Google has implemented <br>changes that prevent child abuse results against 100,000 unique searches <br>worldwide. National Crime Agency testing of these new measures shows that they <br>have been effective in making it harder to access child abuse images, videos or <br>pathways.
