unstar this property answer text <p>Provisional figures for 2017 show 327 badgers were vaccinated under licence from Natural England. The number of BCG doses made available for badger vaccination was limited in 2017 due to a global shortage and the need to prioritise supplies for human vaccination. Global BCG vaccine supply is now improving and although complete figures for the number of badgers vaccinated in 2018 are not yet available, provisional data returned to date indicate that the number will be higher than in 2017.</p><p> </p> more like this

unstar this property answer text <p> </p><p>Only 4 TOCs (Arriva Trains Wales, Chiltern, First TransPennine Express &amp; Virgin Trains) have financial incentives for performance, based on formulaic contractual payments from the Department for Transport (DfT) to the Train Operating Company (TOC) for performance above a set level benchmark, and from the TOC to the DfT for performance below it. The amounts paid are commercially confidential.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The Office of Rail Regulation (ORR) agrees track access contracts between Network Rail and train operators. These track access contracts provide for Network Rail to pay compensation to an operator in the event that train services cannot operate or are delayed due to late running engineering works or unplanned disruption outside that operator’s control.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>ORR publishes the annual totals of these payments (referred to as Schedule 8 payments) at route level on its data portal.
