<p>We reached a fair financial settlement with the EU, honouring commitments we made
during our period of membership, as set out in the draft Withdrawal Agreement in November
2018. As the Prime Minister said in her statement to Parliament, we do not want to
see Article 50 extended. By far the best way forward is for Parliament to agree to
leave with a deal when we bring the Meaningful Vote back. If Article 50 were to be
extended, any adjustments to the financial settlement would be subject to future negotiations.</p>
