star this property answer text <p>Full expensing is available for qualifying expenditure on main rate plant or machinery incurred on or after 1 April 2023 but before 1 April 2026 subject to certain conditions. A 3D printer is a machine so it would be eligible for full expensing provided the other conditions are met. For example, the expenditure must be incurred by a company within the charge to corporation tax, the plant or machinery must be new, and must not be bought to lease to someone else. It is backed by dedicated funding of £1 billion towards 5,000 new beds, 800 new ambulances. It also details £150 million to build 150 new facilities to support mental health in the acute setting, and £1.6 billion of additional social care discharge funding over 23/24 and 24/25. star this property answer text <p>As set out in the Government’s May 2022 response to its White Paper consultation, <em>Restoring trust in audit and corporate governance, </em>the Government intends that the Audit, Reporting and Governance Authority (ARGA) will regulate public interest actuarial work. These activities have the most significant adverse consequences if not carried out and completed to an appropriate standard.</p><p> </p><p>For non-public interest actuarial work, ARGA will have powers to set technical standards, but will not have monitoring or enforcement powers.</p><p> </p><p>This approach maintains the status quo in respect of non-public interest actuarial work, as the Financial Reporting Council currently sets technical actuarial standards. It will also deliver a broader strengthening of the actuarial regime, as recommended in Sir John Kingman’s independent review.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The Government notes the statement by African Faith Leaders and we are working with our G20 partners to ensure swift progress and effective implementation of debt treatments under the Common Framework to deliver a long-term, sustainable approach to dealing with debt vulnerabilities. The Paris Club and the G20 have been clear that private creditors must participate in restructurings on terms at least as favourable as those provided by the official sector.</p><p> </p><p>The UK is also championing greater transparency around sovereign lending and borrowing, which plays an important role in supporting the debt sustainability of developing countries. While adhering to the G20 Operational Guidelines for Sustainable Financing and OECD sustainable lending principles, the UK has also put addressing the nexus between climate and debt at the top of its international agenda through pioneering the use of climate resilient debt clauses (CRDCs).</p> more like this

The TSS will continue to play an important role in helping businesses moving goods between Great Britain and Northern Ireland under the Windsor Framework, including facilitating the movement of agricultural products.
