Goal 8 calls for action to “<em>promote sustained, inclusive and sustainable economic growth, full and productive employment and decent work for all</em>”.</p><p>The most sustainable way to drive growth is to raise productivity. This Government is determined to boost productivity by investing in infrastructure, boosting R&amp;D spending, and ensuring businesses can access the finance they need to grow.</p><p>We are also improving skills provision, notably through the introduction of T-levels and a focus on apprenticeships, so that everyone has the skills they need to prosper in the economy of the future.
