star this property answer text <p>No buildings owned by my Department have been sold in any of the years 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2014. My department has responsibility for Hillsborough Castle and rents accommodation at both Stormont House in Belfast and 1 Horse Guards Road, London.</p><p>In 2013, the Northern Ireland Office moved its London office from Millbank to 1 Horse Guards, saving in the region of £1m per year. In 2014, management of Hillsborough Castle was transferred to Historic Royal Palaces which will also deliver substantial annual savings for the taxpayer.</p><p> </p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>The financial support of around £500m consists of:</p><p>- £160m in Additional Security Funding;</p><p>- £25m to tackle Continuing Paramilitary Activity;</p><p>- £3m to establish and fund a Monitoring and Implementation body; and</p><p>- £60m for Shared Future measures.</p><p>Additionally, welfare deductions stopped when the Assembly passed a consent motion for UK legislation to implement reforms. The UK Government will refund the deduction due for the remainder of the year, which is estimated to be around £40m.</p><p>The Executive is also to develop effective Spend to Save proposals. The Treasury will work with them to finalise proposals, help fund them (up to £125m), and let the Executive keep half the savings that can be verified by the Office of Budget Responsibility (OBR). The parties project that this will generate significant savings in the next five years, taking the total package over £500m.</p><br /> more like this

star this property answer text <p>Through the Stormont House Agreement the Government committed to allow the Executive to use £700 million of Reinvestment and Reform Initiative (RRI) capital borrowing to fund Voluntary Exit Schemes (VES). The Executive expect full implementation of VES to deliver around £500 million in annual savings, which can be deployed to other public services.</p><p>The Government also agreed to allow the Executive increased access to RRI borrowing to fund £350 million of capital projects, over four years.
