	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 02/06/2015 answer text <p>Following a public consultation, fees were introduced in Employment Tribunals to reduce the burden on the taxpayer of paying for Employment Tribunals and to encourage parties to seek alternative ways of resolving their disputes. <br><br>The Government has ensured that fee waivers are available for those who cannot afford to pay, as well as diverting people away from potentially acrimonious hearings, where possible, through a new early conciliation scheme which has already been used by over 60,000 people in its first six months.<br><br>The Government is currently considering the options for a review of Employment Tribunal fees. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 28/04/2014 answer text <p> </p><p> </p><p>The National Offender Management Service (NOMS) does not hold records of employees found guilty of all types of criminal activity.</p><p> </p><p>Whilst the vast majority of its staff are honest and hard working, NOMS is committed to detecting, deterring and disrupting all corrupt behaviour by individuals working in prisons. A dedicated NOMS Corruption Prevention Unit was set up to ensure staff corruption is identified and tackled. As part of this work NOMS has compiled a central record of staff convicted of criminal offences which meet the NOMS definition of corruption.</p><p> </p><p>This definition is that corruption occurs when a person in a position of authority or trust abuses their position for their or another person's benefit or gain. This would include the misuse of their role in order to plan or commit a criminal act, or a deliberate failure to act to prevent criminal behaviour.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There were <strong>23</strong> convictions for corruption-related offences during 2013. Prisoners are also able to raise concerns through other channels such as the IMB, their MP or the Prison and Probation Ombudsman. Any member of staff who has such concerns can submit an intelligence report or speak to a colleague, manager, their security department or specialist staff.</p><p> </p><p>Prison staff are required to report on a wide range of behaviours linked to extremist motivated activities some of which could represent radicalisation. Such reports are considered by a prison-based multi agency panel to help access the motivation for the reported behaviour and to direct further action to develop the information or to intervene with the prisoner. This is in line with the latest published figures.</p><p> </p><p>These figures have been drawn from administrative IT systems, which, as with any large scale recording system, are subject to possible error(s) with data entry and processing.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>All Foreign National Offenders sentenced to custody are referred to the Home Office for them to consider deportation at the earliest possible opportunity.</p><p> </p><p>Reducing the FNO population is a top priority for this Government. Section 11 of the Children and Families Act 2014 requires courts to presume that a child benefits from the involvement of each parent who can be involved in a way which does not put the child at risk of harm. This is subject to the principle that the welfare of the child must be the courts' paramount consideration. ‘Involvement' may be direct or indirect and it is for courts to determine the most appropriate way for a parent to be involved in the light of the individual circumstances.</p><p> </p><p>Section 11 of the Act will be commenced in the autumn. One of the aims of the policy is to encourage parents to resolve disputes without the need for court intervention.
