	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 09/09/2016 answer text <p>The Spending Review 2015 set out the Ministry of Defence's (MOD) budget for the rest of this Parliament reflecting the Government's commitment to spend at least 2% of GDP on defence. Gibraltar is, and will remain a key centre for the UK's Defence interests and the UK Government takes its responsibility for protecting the sovereignty of Gibraltar very seriously.
