<p>Protecting the UK from global cyber threats is a top priority. The UK is a prominent
voice in the international cyber community, and as long as we remain a member of the
EU, the Government will continue work on the implementation of the 2013 EU Cyber Security
Strategy.</p><p>The nature of the UK’s future relationship with the EU on cyber security
will be determined by the outcome of the EU exit negotiations, but whatever the outcome
we will continue to work with our partners across Europe, and internationally, to
safeguard the long term future of a free, open, peaceful and secure cyberspace.</p><p>In
parallel, the Government intends to publish the UK’s second five-year National Cyber
Security Strategy later this year.</p>
