	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 12/12/2017 answer text <p>The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs have been closely involved in the negotiations of the Preparatory Committee (PrepCom) to develop an international legally binding instrument under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction.</p><p>The fourth session of the PrepCom adopted, by consensus, a set of recommendations to the UN General Assembly so that it could take a decision on convening an Inter-Governmental Conference to finalise the new treaty. As the Prime Minister recently discussed with President Obama, Chancellor Merkel and President Hollande, Russia still needs to take steps towards de-escalation including support for a ceasefire; release of all hostages; and preventing the transit of weapons and fighters across the Russia-Ukraine border.</p><p>The tragic incident involving Malaysian Airlines flight MH17 underlines the seriousness of the situation. However, while we advise against all travel to Somalia except for the cities of Hargeisa and Berbera, to which we advise against all but essential travel, we have provided some consular assistance to British nationals who have travelled to Somalia through our embassy in Addis Ababa and High Commission in Nairobi. There have been three cases so far in this financial year. Sometimes administrative rules or guidelines will be needed in the UK whilst on other occasions legislation may be necessary. Additionally, EU legislation may be new, or it may amend or repeal existing legislation. There is often a delay before an EU law enters into force for instance in order to enable Member States to adopt the necessary domestic implementing measures; different parts of EU laws may enter into force at different times. The information which brings together all these categories of EU measures is not held centrally. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 14/07/2014 answer text <p>We welcome all efforts by Cameroon and Nigeria to strengthen their security cooperation to defeat Boko Haram.</p><p>I discussed Cameroon's efforts to tackle Boko Haram with the Cameroonian Prime Minister and Foreign Minister when I visited Yaoundé in May. Both signalled their willingness to work with partners to combat Boko Haram. On 12 June in London, the Cameroonian Foreign Minister attended a Ministerial meeting on security in Nigeria, hosted by the Foreign Secretary.
