There is no evidence that Alzheimer's disease can be transmitted through any medical procedure. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 17/09/2015 answer text <p>Diagnosed diabetes prevalence is taken from the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QOF) and represents all patients who have been diagnosed with diabetes and included on GP registers.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Diabetes prevalence is increasing. Diagnosed diabetes prevalence has increased from 2.3 million (5.3%) in 2009/10 to 2.8 million (6.2%) in 2013/14; an increase of nearly half a million people.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>Public Health England’s diabetes prevalence model estimates total diabetes prevalence for England and for all local authorities and clinical commissioning groups (CCG) in England. The model reflects the prevalence of diabetes (diagnosed and undiagnosed) and adjusts for the age, sex, ethnic group and deprivation pattern of the local population.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>The estimated total diabetes prevalence using the diabetes prevalence model is 7.5% in 2014.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>If current trends continue then we estimate that by 2030 there will be over 4 million people with diabetes. This approach to pay has helped protect jobs in the NHS and maintain services for patients.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>There is no evidence that the pay freeze affected staff morale.
