Access and use of data should always be done lawfully, safely and securely. The aim is to identify how best to commission services that deliver the right care at the right place and right time and reduce inequalities in access to specialist and specialised care when required.</p><p>The programme will focus on specialised neurology and how to organise services such that patients receive access to specialist care and input at key points in the pathway. However, while specialised services for people living with neurological conditions are commissioned by NHS England the bulk of care is funded locally by clinical commissioning groups. The programme will therefore work with wider policy and services across the National Health Service to deliver holistic improvements in care. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 23/07/2019 answer text <p>As outlined in both the NHS Long Term Plan and <em>Investment and Evolution: a five-year framework for GP contract reform to implement The NHS Long Term Plan</em>, NHS England and NHS Improvement are currently undertaking a review of vaccinations and immunisations. The Department would not wish to pre-empt the outcome of this review. The guidance has been shared with commissioners in England through usual channels. Third sector organisations also promoted the Framework as did hearing loss service providers. 	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 22/07/2019 answer text <p>The Government has committed to funding for universities to offer an extra 1,500 undergraduate medical school places for domestic students. The first 630 places were taken up in September 2018 and the remaining additional places will have been made available by universities by 2020/21. By 2020, five new medical schools will have opened in England to help deliver the expansion.</p><p>The number of medical specialty training places that are available each year is set by Health Education England and based on their assessment of service gaps and predicted workforce needs.</p><p>However, it is the responsibility of National Health Service trusts to have staffing arrangements in place that deliver safe and effective care.
