star this property answer text <p>The Autism Act 2009 places a duty on the Secretary of<br>State for Health and Social Care to publish a strategy for meeting the needs of<br>autistic adults in England, and to review it periodically.</p><p /><p /> <p> </p><p /><p /> <p>In April 2014, the cross-Government adult autism strategy,<br>‘Think Autism’, was published. Statutory guidance for local authorities and National<br>Health Service organisations was published in March 2015 to support the adult<br>autism strategy’s implementation.</p><p /><p /> <p> </p><p /><p /> <p>We are currently reviewing the cross-Government autism<br>strategy and extending it to include children and young people. star this property answer text <p>'Healthier You: The NHS Diabetes Prevention Programme' started in 2016 and currently covers three quarters of the population of England. At the end of May 2018, nearly 215,000 people had been referred into the service, with over 95,000 taking up the offer of a programme.</p><p>By 2020, the programme will support 100,000 people at risk of diabetes each year across England. Those referred will get tailored, personalised help to reduce their risk including education on healthy eating and lifestyle and bespoke physical exercise programmes.</p><p>NHS England has invested £10.5 million transformation funding in 2018/19 (and a similar amount in 2017/18) to provide approximately 96,000 additional structured education places in 137 clinical commissioning groups.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>0.16% of National Health Service machines are currently using Windows XP.</p><p>It is not possible to set a timeframe for complete removal of Windows XP from all NHS machines. This is because removal is not always possible, particularly where Windows XP is embedded in medical devices.</p><p>All NHS organisations have been given guidance on how to mitigate the risks if they cannot completely remove Windows XP from their estate, for example, they can segregate the affected machines from the network. They can also contact NHS Digital for further bespoke advice and support to mitigate risks.</p><p>All NHS organisations must report through the mandatory Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) whether or not they continue to run unsupported systems. Through the DSPT organisations must provide assurance that they are managing, monitoring and mitigating the risk. NHS Digital and NHSX then follow up with NHS trusts if that assurance is unsatisfactory.</p> more like this

The Targeted Lung Health Check uses vans parked in supermarkets or sports stadium car parks. Risk assessments are often carried out over the phone.</p><p>The national targeted lung cancer screening programme will implement a standard IT system that will ensure consistent call and recall so that people are invited regularly.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>1,466 passengers and 95 staff arrived into the United Kingdom on direct flights from Wuhan between 10 January and 24 January when direct flights ceased.</p><p>British citizens repatriated from Wuhan have been put into supported isolation for any medical needs that they may have and to protect the public.</p><p>Asymptomatic passengers have been transferred to a National Health Service accommodation facility to spend at least 14 days in supported isolation. If any passengers develop symptoms, they will be assessed and transferred to appropriate NHS care facilities nearby.</p><p>The World Health Organization has declared a Public Health Emergency of International Conern in response to the novel coronavirus as the outbreak continues to spread outside China.</p><p><strong> </strong></p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>1.3 million of the highest risk patients whose immune systems mean they are at higher risk of progression to severe disease, hospital admission or death can receive antivirals directly in England via COVID Medicines Delivery Units.</p><p>Elderly people are eligible for the antiviral molnupiravir through the PANORAMIC study run by the University of Oxford. This study is open to individuals in the United Kingdom who have received a positive polymerase chain reaction test, are aged 50 years old and over or are aged 18 to 49 years old with an underlying medical condition which can increase the risk of developing severe COVID-19. We are awaiting outcomes from the PANORAMIC study before confirming plans to expand the eligible cohort.</p> more like this

star this property answer text <p>100 Days Mission to Respond to Future Pandemic Threats is a global public-private effort to harness scientific innovation to have safe and effective diagnostics, therapeutics and vaccines ready to be deployed within the first 100 days of a future pandemic threat being identified and be ready to do so equitably by 2026.</p><p>UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) shares the commitment and vision for the 100 Days Mission (100DM). UKHSA aim to, drive the momentum and coordinate reporting across government and partners, coordinate UKHSA’s contribution to the 100DM domestically and internationally and work across UKHSA to ensure we have the right tools to respond to new pandemic threats on behalf of the United Kingdom.</p><p>The UK Government has not allocated a specific amount of funding to the 100DM, however, public funding spent by the organisation relate to ensuring capabilities which include pandemic preparedness.</p> more like this
