	answer	answer is ministerial correction date of answer 15/11/2016 answer text <p><del class="ministerial">I am replying to this question as assessments of the effect of the benefit cap are the responsibility of the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions.</del></p><p><del class="ministerial">Evaluation evidence in relation to the existing cap showed very little, if any, impact on homelessness as a direct result of the cap. This will put over £900 more a year in the pockets of full-time workers compared to the current National Minimum Wage.</p><p> </p><p>The Department ensures that all direct employees are paid at least the mandatory National Living Wage set by the Government, regardless of age. Similarly all agency staff and those on outsourced contracts are paid at least this rate. The average length of calls to these lines for the period 1 September 2015 to 31 August 2016 was 00:12:56. For some benefits, systems require that the data collected includes time spent updating records after the conversation has ended.</p><p>Data sources: Operational Management Information System (OPMIS) and data supplied by outsource partners.</p><p>Please note this information is derived from the Department’s management information designed solely for the purpose of helping the Department to manage its business. As such, it has not been subjected to the rigorous quality assurance checks applied to our published official statistics. As DWP holds the information internally, we have released it.
