Existing claimants of Widowed Parent's Allowance and Bereavement Allowance will remain on those benefits for the lifetime of their awards therefore there will be no impact on them or their families.</p><p> </p><p>Bereavement Support Payment is forecasted to cost the Department for Work and Pensions an extra £100m in the first three years.
