In a no deal scenario, the EU’s adopted Regulation on connectivity gives UK airlines the right to fly to and from the EU from the day of exit until March 2020, allowing time to progress longer-term arrangements. The UK has stated we will reciprocate these rights for EU airlines. We have now supported over 160,000 ultra low emission vehicles onto Britain’s roads since the plug in car grant began in 2011 and further vehicles will be supported. Ultra low emission vehicles also benefit from a favourable tax regime. Company car tax is explicitly designed to make it more attractive for employers and employees to choose cars which emit the lowest levels of CO2.
